ALTHOUGH caring for a handicapped child poses many problems and can be very demanding. Parents should welome the little one into their home with thanksgiving. God richly rewards those who eccept such a challange with grace and devotion.
EDna Massimilla has written this touching verse:
A meeting was held quit far from earth;
Its time again for another birth.
Said the angel to the Lord;
This special child will need much love.
He may not run, or laugh or play;
His thoughts might seem far away.
In many ways he won't adapt;
And he'll be known as handicapped.
So let's be carefull where he's sent;
We want his live to be content.
Please Lord find the parents who;
Will do a special job for You!
They will no realise right away;
The leading role they would be asked to play.
Bu with this child send from above;
Comes steonger faith and richer love.
As soon they will know the previlege given;
Their precious charge, so meek and mild.
Is Heavan's very special child.
If God has allowed a handicapped child to come into your life. He has considered you worthy of such trust. Receive that precious one the way our Saviour welcomed the little children when He was on earth.
Real love is helping someone fot Jesus's sake who can never return the faviour!
